Very nice team especially the restaurant team and the food is very delicious and Mr Mohammed Rahman and his team are very supportive
Nice place, if a little odd. I guess we may have gone in off season because it felt deserted with the size of the place and the few people in it. I also don't think they are used to business customers as they were unable to add my Marriott number to the booking despite me asking multiple times. I get the feeling most people there are on package all-inclusive deals which we were not (having been there for a conference) so I felt we were paying over the odds for food and drink as a result. Breakfast was good though, the rooms were okish... basic and my balcony door was broken which they simply couldn't fix for some reason. However, it is right on the beach so great location. If you're expecting a Marriott business hotel, I'd steer clear, but as a holiday destination I think it would probably be fine
Would definetly come back again! The hotel may be a bit dated, but the room was spacious and always spotless (special thanks to our cleaner Hossam from room 144). Incredible reef: colorful corals and fish, even a turtle and manta ray (very lucky!), and ibrahim was an amazing lifeguard and friend. The beach is huge with lots of space between sunbeds, and at the beach bar Mohammed was always ready with our choice of drinks (and waters).
All the staff made us feel welcome from day one and was always ready to help and offer a smile.
Good buffet food, with great variety.
We got our scuba certification at the diving center, which was the highlight of our holiday. Even if you're not into scuba, definetly ask them for escursions and day trips.
Staying here at present beginning of July 26. This is a lovely hotel with plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the sun. The staff overall are really nice and smiling all the time and wanting to chat. Haven’t met a grumpy one yet. 😁 Also cannot fault the cleanliness. Special thanks to ElSayed our cleaner who is always happy and cannot do enough for us in room 410 where always clean and lovely towel art. Best hotel I’ve been in Egypt for the cleanliness of the communal toilets around the hotel - haven’t been in one with any lingering smells which is all too common in Egypt. Only a couple of criticisms: the snorkelling on the reef is limited to a short distance either side of the jetty - it would be nicer to have this extended to see more of the natural reef which was the main reason for choosing sharks bay. And the main restaurant is quite small given the size of the hotel - not sure how this would fair when the hotel is busier although the food has been nice every day. Lovely experience so far. Thanks
Fantastic hotel. Our room 401 was looked after by ElSayed and it was beautifully decorated everyday with towel art and flower arrangements Staff are all friendly, great food, great beach and pool bars. Snorkelling was good. Would definitely recommend
