Our receptionists and iconic Ladies in Red look forward to welcoming you; and guiding you through an adjusted check in procedure. Do Not Enter My Room; At check in you will be offered the possibility of choosing the new Do Not Enter My Room option which means that while all services remain available our employees will not enter your room during your stay until you express a wish to have your room serviced. Room service deliveries; luggage assistance; and other services will take place in front of your room.
Rooms and Amenities; The cleaning of our flawless rooms and suites and the sanitisation of our beds meet the highest possible hygiene standards.
Treat yourself with massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 2 outdoor swimming pools, an attached winery and a health club. Getting to the surf and sand is a breeze with the complimentary beach shuttle.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

We had a fantastic 10-day stay at Kempinski Soma Bay and would especially like to thank Maged, who we believe is one of the managers at Al Mar restaurant.
We had lunch at Al Mar every day, and Maged was always extremely attentive, friendly and welcoming. It was clear that he genuinely cared about the guests and wanted everyone to have a wonderful experience.
A big thank you also to the entire Al Mar team — everyone was fantastic and helped make our stay truly special.

A wonderful week – and a team that makes the difference
We spent a week at the Kempinski Soma Bay in September and went home thoroughly happy. There was a lot to like, but what stayed with us most was the people.
The food was excellent throughout – varied, fresh, and of a standard you don't tire of even after seven days. We would particularly like to highlight the kitchen service in the Laguna Club Lounge: attentive, warm, and always ready to accommodate a request. You could tell the team genuinely enjoys what they do.
A special mention goes to room service, and specifically to Mohamed Jamal. He looked after every request so courteously and reliably that we felt in good hands from the very first day. Staff like him are the best thing that can happen to a hotel.
The entire team was extremely professional, exceptionally friendly and helpful – from reception to the beach to the restaurants. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything was handled with a natural ease and good humour that you don't find everywhere.
We would happily return, and we thank the whole house very much.
We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.
The location is absolutely beautiful, directly by the Red Sea, with a very well-maintained property and lots of greenery. I especially appreciated that many of the plants seem to be well adapted to the local climate, so the gardens can be kept beautiful without relying on excessive irrigation. The whole resort fits very naturally into its surroundings.
The atmosphere is incredibly calm and relaxing. One thing we particularly liked was the separation of different areas at the beach, including a dedicated area for families with children. This allows everyone to find a spot that suits them and definitely contributes to the peaceful atmosphere.
Our room was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which is obviously very important in Egypt, and the blackout curtains were excellent. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious as well, and we found both the mattress and the pillows very comfortable. We also really loved our balcony – it was a wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings and added a lot to the overall experience of the room.
Cleanliness was excellent. A special thank you to Hamdy, who took care of our room during our stay. He did a fantastic job, was always friendly and made sure everything was perfectly clean and comfortable. We really appreciated his work!
One small suggestion would be to introduce a clearer towel-reuse system, for example only replacing towels when guests leave them on the floor. Fresh towels every single day are not really necessary, and giving guests the choice to reuse them could help save water and energy.
The service throughout the hotel was outstanding. The staff were always friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful. We especially loved being able to order drinks and food directly from our sunbeds throughout the beach and pool area. It was extremely convenient, and the staff always made us feel very welcome. We also really appreciated that the hotel prepared lunch packages for us when we went on our day trip to Cairo.
Another small thing we would love to see is easier access to fresh fruit during the day. There was a fruit basket in the room, which was a lovely touch, but as we enjoy eating fruit as a light lunch or snack, it was quickly finished. It would be great if the fruit basket could perhaps be replenished every couple of days, or if guests had the option to take some fruit from breakfast to enjoy later in the day.
Overall, we had a fantastic and very relaxing stay. The beautiful location, peaceful atmosphere, spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent service and genuinely lovely staff made our holiday very special. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would be very happy to return.
Everything was outstanding. The views, food, experience, activities and snorkelling was perfect. Most of all I really appreciated the quality in service and attentiveness of every single member of staff, the attention payed to remembering past food orders, personal preferences, and our names is really exceptional. Our house keeper Mohamed Jamal, was especially attentive, making us different towel animals every day for our one week stay. I’m really speechless, it was a really outstanding stay…
