We had a wonderful holiday at the Baron Palace and would really love to come back. I think it was the most relaxing holiday I’ve ever had. The whole hotel was spotless at all times, including our room and all staff worked so hard to keep it that way. The lobby smelt amazing (wish I could buy that smell!) Everyone was so friendly from the restaurant staff, pool bar, front desk, pool/beach attendants and even the lovely gardeners who waved to us every morning. I really hope the staff are rewarded for their fantastic work ethic here as they make the hotel what it is. We enjoyed all the Al a carte restaurants and thought the food was very tasty, particularly the Egyptian and Indian/Thai. There were always sunbeds available no matter what time of day which is such a breath of fresh air as I absolutely hate worrying about sunbeds and people who hog them with towels all day, this did not really happen here. The beach and sea was beautiful (take snorkels) so many species of amazing colourful fish including a blue spotted stingray cruising past 2 afternoons which was my highlight of the holiday. One thing I would suggest is if the hotel could do more to highlight the importance of the marine life to guests and our responsibility to protect it. Most people were respectful but I did witness a few standing on and touching the coral which made me sad, obviously this is not the hotels fault, just poor education on some guests part. Overall this was a fantastic holiday and I would recommend the hotel.
