The bedrooms are spacious cream-coloured sanctuaries with air conditioning, an en suite bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, radio, safe, minibar, satellite TV and a telephone. Guests may also relax on their private balcony or terrace.
There is an outdoor swimming pool with a poolside snack bar, and guests may also work out in the on-site gym, relax in the hot tub, or take advantage of the massage service.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages. After dipping into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. Additional amenities at this property include wireless Internet access (surcharge), an arcade/games room and a hair salon.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We arrived at the hotel after midnight, and the staff welcomed us with dinner already prepared — a gesture that set the tone for the entire stay.
Accommodation: Large, spacious, and impeccably clean rooms, with a generous terrace and a private jacuzzi. Daily bottled water, soft drinks in the fridge (Coke, Fanta, Sprite), a Nespresso machine with coffee, tea, sugar, and a kettle. In the bathroom, a full set of toiletries: shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.
Food: The cuisine was tasty and caused no stomach issues — perhaps not extremely varied, but with enough options for every taste. Desserts were rich and good, fresh fruit daily, a variety of salads, and fluffy rolls.
Pools & relaxation: A big plus was having separate pools — one quiet, with no music and no children, ideal for relaxing, and a separate one with activities and music for those looking for fun. The spa, massages, gym, and diving center were all top-notch. The hotel is also disability-friendly, with ramps and a dedicated pontoon.
Service: The staff were extremely kind and always eager to make you feel good. It also happened to be my birthday during this stay, and the hotel surprised me with a free cake, brought to the table by three waiters who sang "Happy Birthday" in Arabic — a truly touching moment! We were assured the ice is made from bottled water, not tap water, and the hotel has an ATM, a jewelry shop, a perfumery, and a souvenir shop on site. Beach: Immaculate, with fine sand, sun loungers with mattresses, and dividers for privacy and wind protection. The only downside: the sea is not deep for quite a long stretch, so you need to swim past the rope set up by the hotel to actually reach swimming depth.
The air conditioning in the rooms is a ventilation-type unit with a wall thermostat, and it's a bit noisy.
Conclusion: We've been to Egypt before, but this stay was, without a doubt, the best one yet. We will definitely be back!
