Xanadu Makadi Bay

During my stay at Xanadu Makadi Bay, I had a very unpleasant experience that significantly affected my vacation.

After eating at the hotel, I developed severe diarrhea and became seriously ill. I visited the hotel clinic, where the doctor examined me, prescribed medication, and informed me that my condition was most likely caused by eating contaminated or unhygienic food.

My condition became quite severe. I suffered from persistent diarrhea, my blood pressure decreased, and I was unable to eat or even move around properly for almost two days. Instead of enjoying my holiday, I spent most of my time recovering.

This was a very disappointing and upsetting experience. I hope the hotel reviews its food hygiene and quality control procedures to ensure that no other guest has to go through the same situation.

I stayed at this resort at the beginning of July. It’s a place suitable for everyone — both couples and families with children.
The rooms are large and spacious, housekeeping is done daily, and the bathroom amenities as well as the minibar are refilled every day (all included in the room price).
There are food options available from 7 AM until 2 AM — buffet restaurants, à la carte restaurants, plus a pastry corner on the left side of the reception.
There are also two beach restaurants serving food and pizza during the day: Ariel and Agora.
We stayed in the Main Building, and the beach was a bit farther away (about a 10‑minute walk), but the transfer was done with electric carts that came every 10 minutes, sometimes even more often.
At the beach, using a card received from the reception, you can get large beach towels. No matter the time of day, you can always find sunbeds and umbrellas. From the beach bar, we were served drinks directly at the sunbeds (including alcoholic cocktails).
The beach has fine sand and a gentle entrance into the water. The seabed is also fine sand.
Every evening, shows and entertainment were organized at the Show Center, both for children and adults.

The application that i reserved on it it was very respectable and has credibility vio.com.. when i arrived the hotel told me to pay extra money for the different nationality i am Egyptian and after 2 hours negotiations and arguments the make discount for us 50% and the vio.com paid for me what i paid extra for hotel.......over all except this experience the hotel is very perfect in food and services and cleaning
