The hotel is excellent. Cleaned to a very high standard. Entertainment was good and always something going on during the day and night. Staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help if asked. Restaurant are good, especially the themed restaurant. Food was good and caters for everyone.
The animations very very good and the atmosphere very amazing
Great gated hotelcomplex about 30 min from Hurghada. Great option for families near the Makadi beach 5-10 min walk through some lovely well maintained gardens… Very friendly hotel staff, large selections of foods. Buffet is descent from fresh food to snacks, sweets etc . The a la carte restaurants are really nice. A large pool with activities for kids animation team music etc,and a nice quiet pool to relax. The beach area is very well maintained plenty of sunbeds for everyone, large offer of activities from diving,watersports,boattrips.. The rest of the broader complex offers lots of sports facilities like golf tennis padel and football courts. Waterpark with free entry for hotel guests nearby with free bus transfers every 30 mins.
A decent hotel complex but unfortunately the staff lack smiles and the Wi-Fi is terrible. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the city.
We stayed here End July / early August. Family of 4.
We arrived early hours of the morning, we're not offered any food (but since found out if we asked they'd have offered.) Was then ushered to go outside with no real explanation, when someone then took us to our room. Which felt like a running theme for the holiday things weren't communicated the best.
We had a room around the quiet pool which was lovely. Cleaned well and plenty of space for the 4 of us. There was always a sun longer round the quiet pool but towards the end of the stay we couldn't find one round the activity pool.
We always had breakfast in the alternative restaurant and not the sunflower, we found this quieter and the same choice as the main restaurant which we preferred. The snack bar round the main pool had the same food every day. Nuggets, chips, pizzas and burgers which were tasty. Dinner was a mixed bag, we sometimes found a lot to eat, sometimes it wasn't the best choice. The bread selection was lovely. The puddings were ok, plenty of choice but some could be a little dry. We had our one meal at the grill restaurant which was a good little meal. Staff always welcomed you, always offered a drink and were generally helpful and friendly.
We went to the Marina which was a 40Euro 2 way taxi ride organised by the hotel. Which was a lovely nighttime walk and meal. We also went to the aquarium and the senzo mall which were good to go to for a few hours. There are loads of shops on site...they will hang outside and try to get you into to have a look, most of them will leave you alone but some can be a little pushy. The supermarket... ridiculously expensive and it's the only shop selling food - 500 EGP for a bag of peanut M&Ms for example. No prices on anything either so won't know until you get to the till.
The entertainment at night was ok, few good little shows but generally after the mini disco it wasn't much to keep the kids up. Again mini disco was good but no real introduction or explanation for anything for the kids that have newly arrived. Didn't speak to any of the animation team at all so cannot comment on them at all. They seemed to have their regular liked people. The street party was good, we also had the blue and yellow pool party which can be a bit hectic with kids scrambling for floats / going down the slides.
We generally had a lovely time here, but there were a few things we came away thinking it just missed the mark compared to other hotels we'd been to.
