Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort truly is a holiday oasis of comfort and tranquility. The resort sits back about a 250 meters from the private beach operated by the Madinat Makadi resort complex - bathe in the Red Sea and can arrange exciting activities including scuba diving and windsurfing with extra charge. Its even possible to organize excursions into the desert and mountain - home to Bedouin villages - oases and ancient ruins.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Lovely ten nights, staff are amazing, polite and helpful. The resort is exceptionally clean at all times, pool areas are perfect for both kids and adults. Entertainment not too bad, close walk to the beach. Water park a big hit with my grandson. Overall an amazing time away with family
We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, very well maintained, and there is a great variety of food. The staff are generally very pleasant. A special mention goes to Mohamed, who took care of our room. He was always friendly, smiling, helpful and very professional.
The only negative point was the service in the restaurant. As French guests, we sometimes felt that there was a difference in treatment compared with the many German guests staying at the hotel. I also spoke with several other French guests who had noticed the same thing. Of course, not all the waiters were like this, and some of them were extremely kind and professional with us.
It is simply something that could be improved so that every guest feels equally welcome, regardless of nationality.
A magnificent hotel, very good restaurants, great pools, perfect rooms, and truly kind and professional staff. A dream come true!
2nd Visit to Jaz Makadi Oasis, and can not fault the hotel at all.
All staff are friendly and polite and can not do enough for you. The hotel is spotless, staff are always cleaning. Two pools the bigger pool is where all the activities and events are and we found sunbeds for a family of 8 at all times of day. The smaller pool is quieter and again no issues getting beds, however this pool is deep if your 6ft plus you'll comfortably be able to stand up in it, if your a short arse like me stick to the big pool. Both pools are served by pool bars that have selection of snacks and freshly made pizzas. The bar staff will take your drink orders from your lounger and they work their arses off . Buffet restaurant - always something to eat at every meal, even for fussy eaters. Make sure you check the BBQ area outside as they have different options to the inside. Had two al la carte this year, the Lebanese which was amazing and we also visited the Indian Amaya which was also gorgeous. Waterpark was brilliant again. If you like the beach and snorkeling this hotel is located approx 5 minutes walk from the beach which again is all inclusive and has waiter service for drinks. Snack bar serving pizzas, burgers, hotdogs, chips, chicken shawarma etc. Massive variety of fish to be seen around all reefs and especially the pier/jetty, and for a bonus we also seen a turtle this year which was amazing. Best bit of advice: tip the staff in either Egyptian pound notes, USD or English/Euro notes(not coins). Egyptian wages are nothing compared to European wages. We worked out that they work around 16 to 18 hours a day and some of them didn't have a day off in the entire 2 weeks of our holiday, they work tirelessly to keep you happy and the hotel running so showing them a bit of gratitude goes a long way.
The hotel is extraordinary and Ahmed Abdel maksoud at Was reception Was magnificent and highly profesional
