Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

The entertainment team was amazing. They organized lots of activities that we really enjoyed. They were cheerful and fun to be around. I’d love to see them again next year and have plenty more fun with them.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! A vacation that ended in the hospital!
At first glance, the reception area looks nice, but the rooms are in terrible condition: old furniture, damaged door frames, and an unbearable smell. We even found an extremely dirty baby cot in the hallway.
The food selection is very limited, and we noticed that dishes left over from lunch were served again at dinner, raising serious concerns about food freshness.
The worst part was that two other people and I ended up in the hospital with severe digestive problems and fever. After undergoing medical tests, we were diagnosed with gastrointestinal infections, and the doctors suspected that the food served at the hotel was the source. In my case, the problems are serious enough that I need to continue medical investigations after returning to my home country.
The only positive aspect is the hotel’s location in the center of Hurghada.
AVOID THIS HOTEL! We came here to enjoy our vacation but ended up spending our time in hospitals, receiving IV fluids and medical treatment.
Pros: Its in a good location. Most staff are very friendly our housekeeper was amazing he couldn't do enough for us. There was a couple of bar staff that were great and you only had to go to the bar and they knew what you wanted before you even spoke. The rooms are dated but clean and tidy.
Cons: if you like beef in different flavoured gravy each day your love it, The people selling stuff in the hotel will not leave you allow so you dont get a break from outside shopping. We feel more tired than when we went. The entertainment is in a marquee next to the beach, the beach bar is closed at 6pm so there are no drinks! but that's not a major problem as the main entertainment is 15 minutes long.
My husband and I recently returned from a wonderful holiday in Hurghada, and I wanted to write a thorough review to share our real experience at the Minamark Beach Resort. Choosing a hotel in Egypt can often feel like a gamble, but we were looking for a lively location with direct beach access, comfortable amenities, and good value for money. Minamark checked all of those boxes for us, making our getaway truly memorable. The strongest advantage of Minamark Beach Resort is undoubtedly its location. It sits right in the vibrant heart of Sakala on Sheraton Road, which meant we had immediate access to local shops, bustling street cafes, pharmacies, and fruit stands right outside the main gates. Upon arrival, check-in was smooth. We received a pleasant room in the garden area. While the furniture and overall room style are somewhat traditional rather than modern high-tech, everything was impeccably clean and perfectly functioning. The air conditioning unit worked silently and cooled the room quickly, the bed was very comfortable with fresh linens, and hot water was always available with steady pressure in the bathroom. Housekeeping did a great job every single day, leaving us bottled water and forming cute towel swans on our bed, which always brought a smile to our faces. The main restaurant served a good variety of dishes daily. For breakfast, we loved the live cooking station where the chef prepared fresh omelets with customizable toppings, along with delicious Egyptian breads and pastries. Dinners usually featured grilled options outside, including marinated chicken, kofta, and roasted fish. We also dined at the seafood à la carte restaurant by the beach, which offered a romantic atmosphere under the stars and tasty calamari. The private beach area, although fairly compact, is very cozy and well-kept. Finding available sun loungers was never a problem for us. What we enjoyed most was the dual entry into the sea: you can either walk gently into the water from the clean sandy shoreline or jump straight off the wooden pier to swim where the water is deeper. We brought our snorkeling goggles and were pleasantly surprised to spot colorful reef fish near the jetty posts. While enjoying our resort days, my husband and I really wanted to explore Egypt beyond the hotel grounds. After reading many traveler reviews and comparing choices, we decided not to book excursions through the hotel tour representatives because their quotes were unnecessarily inflated. Instead, we booked everything with a local company named Sheriff Egypt. You can easily find them online by searching their name on Google or social media platforms. Their prices are significantly lower than hotel guides, and their customer service was top-tier from start to finish. We booked two major trips with them, and both exceeded our expectations: Luxor Small-Group Tour: We chose the small-group package capped at a maximum of 8 people, which made the experience feel almost private. We traveled in a brand-new 2026 minibus equipped with smooth air conditioning and ultra-comfortable seating. Our guide spoke fluent English, was incredibly knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history, and kept us engaged throughout the visits to Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings without ever rushing us. Super Safari: This trip was pure adrenaline and fun! The package included quad biking across the desert dunes, a camel ride, visiting a Bedouin village, and watching a traditional evening show accompanied by a delicious open-air barbecue dinner under a sky full of stars. Minamark Beach Resort gave us a warm, relaxed, and authentic base for our holiday, while our trips added the perfect touch of adventure. My husband and I left Hurghada with wonderful memories, and we would happily return!
