Good hotel and good animacion perfect food
We stayed here at the end of August 2026. It is a wonderful hotel with delicious and varied food. The staff is friendly and attentive, and everyone is very welcoming. The waiter, ElGindy, was extremely helpful and kind 😇😇. We are absolutely thrilled. Thank you!!!
We first visited this hotel 10 years ago for our honeymoon, and we absolutely loved it. The food was excellent, the experience was wonderful, and we always remembered the hotel fondly. That’s why we decided to come back with our children and relive the experience. Unfortunately, this time our stay was somewhat disappointing. First, we were initially given an old room with a musty smell. We contacted the hotel and requested a room change, but it took around two hours and several follow-ups before the room was finally changed. The room service staff were very polite and respectful, but unfortunately, the food was not at the usual Mövenpick standard that I have experienced at other Mövenpick hotels I have visited. There was not much variety in the dishes, and some of the restaurant staff were a little rude in their interactions. We had booked half board (breakfast and dinner). One thing that was particularly disappointing was that dinner did not include any beverages. If you wanted to order a drink, it was charged separately, and the prices were quite expensive. On some days, when the main restaurant was full, some of the food was served in the adjacent restaurant. On our first visit, a restaurant hostess named Naomi asked us to go to the other restaurant. We accepted and went there twice on two consecutive days. However, on the third day, we were asked to do the same thing again. We were particularly upset because another family entered the main restaurant just before us and after us and was allowed to enter, while we were asked to go to the other restaurant again. I decided to check the main restaurant myself and found several empty tables, which made the situation even more frustrating. I honestly felt that we were being treated unfairly, and this was one of the main reasons why the overall experience was disappointing. On the positive side, the animation team was very active and genuinely tried to entertain the guests. They put in a lot of effort, and the foam party was really fun. However, there was not much variety in the evening entertainment, although this is not necessarily the animation team's fault. The lifeguard team deserves special recognition. They were extremely respectful, professional, and attentive, and they were doing their job perfectly. Overall, I’m honestly disappointed because I came back after 10 years with very positive memories and hoped to create the same beautiful memories with my children. Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to our expectations, and I don’t think it is an experience I would like to repeat.
Very nice location and region to spent your holiday. The only disadvantage was that the sea is most of the time too low, even with high tide. Staf and rooms are OK.
