Beautiful hotel and and amazing staff
I have stayed with my family in the hotel and it was a beautiful experience !
We stayed at a 3 bedroom apartment it was very clean, tidy and equipped was all the things you might need in your vacation and the view from the terrace was amazing, the hotel itself is very calm and good for relaxing.
The beach isn’t far from the hotel and there is a shuttle bus every hour to take you there and the beach itself has a bar where you can have snacks, drinks and get your beach towels, as for the pool the hotel has many of them and the main one has a bar where you can enjoy a drink after swimming 🏊♂️
As for the food it was probably the best part of the stay, the main restaurant buffet offers a wide selection of delicious food, desserts and drinks! Don’t forget to grab a drink at the mint bar and enjoy the animation team show after the dinner.
Overall it was a great experience and a beautiful vacation and definitely we will return once again to this unforgettable hotel… and i want to personally thank some of the amazing staff of the hotel from miss Martha and mister Khaled at the reception to chef Ahmed Abdel Azim, chef Ahmed Abo el Maaref, chef Andrew (and all the kitchen staff) mr Kamal, mr Hany, miss Dina (and all the restaurant staff) and mr Mina and mr Samuel (and all the bar staff… truly the staff felt like a family rather than hotel staff which is a very good point in this hotel… i highly recommend Ancient Sands ❤️ Best regards,
Ancient Sands Golf Resort and Residences
We had the pleasure of staying in a villa with a private pool. The villa was very spacious and spread over two floors, with a beautiful high-ceilinged living room, two large bedrooms and two spacious bathrooms. There was air conditioning throughout the entire villa. We also had a huge terrace and a pool with a beautiful view of the golf course and the lagoon. The housekeeping team was fantastic, and we were provided with fresh water every time they cleaned the villa.
The hotel itself has been designed with great attention to detail. It is intimate, beautifully lit at night, green and has a wonderful atmosphere.
Food was available practically all the time and was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all fresh, with a huge variety of options. Nothing ever ran out, and everything tasted amazing. The themed dinner nights were simply incredible.
The transportation to the beach was very well organised. The beach itself was also intimate and clean, with plenty of space, large umbrellas and fantastic service. :)
The surrounding area is beautiful, clean and safe. Quiet neighbourhood. Truly a special place.
A big plus is the hotel app, where you can find all the information you need, including opening hours and the menus for every restaurant and bar.
Excellent value for money.
But the biggest thank you goes to the staff — such lovely, friendly, smiling and genuinely helpful people. They were always happy to help without even being asked, and nothing was ever a problem. It truly felt like nothing was impossible for them!
A huge thank you to the chefs for the delicious food, the waiters for their incredibly fast service, the bartenders for the amazing drinks, the drivers for the quick transfers, the housekeeping team for keeping the villa spotless, and a very special thank you to the reception team for being available 24/7, organising a wonderful birthday surprise and arranging fresh meals for us at 1 and 3 a.m. :)
There is honestly nothing I could complain about. Everything was perfect, and we were absolutely delighted that we chose this hotel for our holiday. It was a wonderful experience! ❤️
Chef Mahmoud and staff
Chef Mahmoud was the best, his food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for him. Kamal in the restaurant was fab, all the staff go above and beyond to much your stay enjoyable. Hussain on reception always goes the extra mile. All in all they all made our holiday an enjoyable experience for our first time in Egypt.
