I stayed here for 4 nights in early September. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the spacious room I was allocated.
I had not fully researched the location of the hotel so I was disappointed with its location in that it’s about 15 minutes walking distance from the old town and much further to the beaches. However, that is clearly not the hotels fault! A large 7 eleven is next door to the hotel and McDonalds a little bit further.
Staff were very friendly and in the restaurant they worked hard to ensure guests were happy. Breakfast was good and peaceful.
I was surprised that there was no bottle opener in the rooms and I had to call reception to ask for one to be brought up, they refused to leave it and waited whilst I opened my bottle!!
Overall, a nice hotel with friendly staff.
We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for visiting Phuket Old Town. The staff were friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Jubjang for her kind service and for taking good care of us. She made us feel very welcome. We really appreciate her help and hope to stay here again.

Estrala Rooftop Bar is very nice! We had Khun Nui, our lovely lady, taking great care of us. We enjoyed three cocktails!!! 🍸🍸🍸
I had a wonderful experience at Estrella. Thanks to Marisa Nui Guy provided excellent service, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The drinks were absolutely delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Thank you for the great hospitality. I highly recommend Estrella and look forward to coming back again! 🍹✨
I recently spent a night at the Novotel, and while the property is showing its age, it is exceptionally well-maintained. Even though I arrived alongside a large airline group, the front office team handled the rush brilliantly. My check-in with Khun Den and Khun Sien was seamless and informative—they are true assets to the team!
The room was spacious and clean. I did notice an initial odor, but housekeeping responded immediately and resolved it, which saved my night. Room service was impressively fast and the food was delicious; however, I ordered my beef burger rare and it arrived well-done. Still, the quality was good.
Breakfast offered a great Halal-friendly selection. As a non-Halal guest, I noticed bacon is available upon request, but there were no signs indicating this. It would be helpful to have a small sign or for the staff to mention it during seating. A special thank you to Khun Bell at breakfast for being so friendly, and to Khun Peng for a swift and easy check-out. Kudos to all the heartists!
