The resort features 2 restaurants, 1 Internet Cafe and 1 Pool Bar serving cuisine from around the world, a spa, a kids club and an exciting array of recreational and leisure facilities. Only an hour away by car from Phuket International Airport, Khao Lak is renowned for its tranquil surroundings and unspoiled tropical beaches - the perfect ingredients for a holiday in paradise. All rates included Taxes/Service Charge. Children below 17 years of age sharing a room with adults are complimentary on a room only basis. Compulsory Breakfast is charged per child per day.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at Ramada Resort Khao Lak for 4 nights celebrating our honeymoon. It was a wonderful experience, and we would absolutely stay here again, even in one of the standard rooms, not only the Oceanfront Villa.
One of the things we loved most about the resort was its size. It is the perfect balance: large enough to have everything you need, but not so large that you feel like you are staying in a huge hotel complex. The whole resort is beautifully surrounded by trees, plants and flowers, so every walk through the property felt peaceful and tropical. Being directly next to the beach also meant we could enjoy beautiful sunsets every evening.
The Oceanfront Villa was definitely the highlight of our stay. We had a much more secluded feeling compared with the main beach area.
The villa itself was extremely comfortable. The bed was great, while the bathroom was especially well designed, with a huge two-person jacuzzi where we could lie side by side, a large shower, two separate sinks and a spacious wardrobe area.
Our favorite feature was the large sliding glass doors facing the sea. Opening them in the morning and having the sea directly in front of us was beautiful. The private terrace with our own sunbeds was also the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset.
Villa guests also receive an additional breakfast dish each morning, chosen from a special menu which was a really nice extra touch.
The resort really made our honeymoon feel special. We were welcomed into the villa with a very cute decoration on the bed, together with a bottle of wine and a cake.
We also had a romantic three-course dinner surrounded by candlelit lanterns, which was one of the most memorable experiences of our stay.
I think the resort is particularly well suited for couples because of its size and atmosphere. There are plenty of places where you can enjoy your own private moments without feeling surrounded by crowds.
The staff were consistently friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. I especially want to mention P’Sarj, who helped us with our stay in the Oceanfront Villa and made the experience even better.
We also really enjoyed the pool bar. The daily happy hour was a great opportunity to enjoy some excellent cocktails from the swim-up seats in the pool, and the bar staff were always very friendly.
Breakfast was another highlight. There was a great selection of both Western and Thai dishes, plenty of fresh juices, and lots of variety.
However, my personal favorite was the bakery selection, probably some of the best pastries and baked goods I have had in Thailand.
We also enjoyed the beach restaurant, which had a large selection of dishes, generous portions and delicious food. The presentation was beautiful as well, which felt appropriate for a resort of this quality.
The massages were another highlight. They were extremely relaxing, and the staff were very attentive. We were able to choose from a selection of quality aromatic oils, and we were offered tea before and after the treatment. The spa itself was a very peaceful and tranquil place.
The location is also excellent. The resort is directly on the beach, but at the same time it is close to plenty of restaurants, the night market, grocery stores and scooter rentals. This made it very easy to explore Khao Lak without sacrificing the peaceful feeling of the resort.
Overall, the whole experience exceeded our expectations.

Me and my husband spent our honeymoon at Ramada Khaolak for 4 nights and the experience was beyond our expectation. Firstly, thanks to P'Sarj for organizing us the room, we got to stay at the beachfront villa in which we enjoyed everyday sunset view from the balcony. The hotel itself locates in a very good location, lots of restaurants outside, night market, 7-eleven etc. Another thing we really liked about the hotel is the pool bar that offers a 50% off during the happy hour everyday, the cocktails tasted amazing and also the staffs there were very nice and friendly. We also ate at the hotel's restaurant (Sassi's) and we were really surprised about how cheap the food is compared to the food portion and also the view. Overall, it was a really great honeymoon🤩.
The Ramada Resort Khao Lak is in the perfect location. It is in the middle of the market, restaurant area within walking distance to anything you may need. At the same time it is right on the beachfront. It is not a huge resort so has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with just a touch of luxury thrown in. The staff are efficient, friendly and will go out of their way to be helpful
We had an amazing stay at the Ramada Resort Khao Lak, we visited on a Luxury Escapes package, the room overlooking the pool was very comfortable and the staff were amazing. All meals especially the breakfast were very good, great variety of food and excellent coffee. Will definitely be returning.
The room is clean and new, and the staff are very enthusiastic, especially Anoya, Wawa. The food is also very delicious. Definitely worth coming back to and recommending!"
