The Perfect Family Escape in Hua Hin
Our stay at Holiday Inn Hua Hin Resort exceeded all our expectations and was the perfect destination for a family holiday.
The resort is incredibly family-friendly, with facilities and activities that keep both children and adults entertained. The water park was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay—beautifully maintained, exciting, and a place where our family created unforgettable memories.
Breakfast each morning was exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit every taste. It was the perfect way to start each day.
What truly made our experience outstanding, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was genuinely welcoming, attentive, and eager to help. Their kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality made us feel valued throughout our stay.
We highly recommend Holiday Inn Hua Hin Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun-filled family vacation. We can’t wait to return!
Great location and mostly excellent service, but disappointed by the front desk's lack of empathy
The hotel is very nice and conveniently located right opposite the water park. I want to give a special shoutout to the concierge team—everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. We also really enjoyed the restaurant promotion where kids eat for free when parents order a meal, which is a great touch for families. However, I was quite disappointed with the service from a short-haired female staff member stationed at the L floor lobby. My elderly father was suffering from back pain, so we politely requested a slight late check-out at 1:30 PM. She showed absolutely no flexibility or empathy. Not only was the request denied, but she bluntly told us to just go sit and wait in the lobby because "it has cool air conditioning there too." This felt very insensitive to an elderly guest who was unwell. In case the hotel management would like to look into this, we stayed in Room 1517. I hope the front desk staff can be trained to handle these situations with a bit more hospitality in the future.

We are extremely grateful to this hotel for a wonderful holiday. My son loved the water park, I loved the rooftop pool, and we both enjoyed the incredible evening views from the rooftop restaurant and the delicious, varied breakfasts. The service was faultless—everything was efficient and polite, and we had plenty of time to appreciate it over our 22-night stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone!
Celebrating Anniversary
The hotel close to the train station but only opens on weekends, otherwise, train arrives in the main/old train station 5km away. The passage to get to the beach, secada and Tamarindo markets are advertised to be opened only on weekends but they passage through the railroad is open all the time. If for any reason the railroad passage is not open, there is no safe way to walk to other areas and you need to hire a taxi/Grab.
The hotel management and team are excellent. Services are outstanding. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, they will be very helpful.
I am a platinum and I got an upgrade and late checkout. Also, a couple of free glasses of dry wine to celebrate at the Sky restaurant in the rooftop.
The shuttle between properties and to the Blueport mall was a great help. Grab is readily available everywhere.
Breakfast was very good and worthwhile.
The views of the beach were fantastic. We stayed on the ocean side and we did not notice any noise, specially the train noise that some other guests complained about. Overall, this is a great property.
My request was overlooked.
English translation: The location is excellent, with a beautiful sea view, and the pool view is stunning as well. However, I had requested a special setup, and it was confirmed twice, but it was not prepared upon arrival. If this had been taken care of, it would have made a much better first impression. Since this was my first stay, I had fairly high expectations.
