Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I am writing to express my serious disappointment with our stay. As a family travelling with a young baby, we expected basic empathy, flexibility and support, but almost every request was met with an immediate “No” rather than an effort to understand our situation or offer an alternative.
Our stay was particularly uncomfortable due to a poor mattress and an ongoing air-conditioning issue, resulting in several restless and sleepless nights. When we requested a refund for the unused nights, this was refused without any meaningful attempt to find a reasonable solution.
The lack of flexibility continued at checkout. I requested an additional 30 minutes because I had to drop off my parents and intended to return, but this was denied despite my offering to have the room checked in my absence. I also had to leave without collecting my ₹2,000 advance because returning solely to collect it was impractical, and no alternative arrangement was offered.
This experience was especially disappointing given the standard expected from a hotel of your calibre. The contrast with another, smaller hotel we stayed at in Thailand—where the staff showed genuine warmth and consideration towards our daughter—made the lack of care during our stay even more apparent.
Despite reconfirming my email address at checkout, I have still not received the final hotel bill. Please arrange to send all invoices and bills related to our stay, including any applicable advance or payment records, at the earliest.
I hope management will review this matter seriously and recognise that guest comfort, empathy and reasonable flexibility are essential aspects of hospitality.

The location is great, with plenty of supermarkets, street food, and entertainment venues nearby. I loved grabbing a drink at the poolside bar and watching the sunset. The staff were always friendly and professional, and the international cuisine at the hotel restaurant was delicious
The Davis Hotel in Sukhumvit is an exceptional place to stay in Bangkok—a real standout with its distinctive London-inspired architecture that feels like a charming slice of England dropped into the heart of Thailand. The building’s elegant design, complete with classic brickwork and refined details, makes it incredibly photogenic; it’s no surprise it’s a favorite spot among locals and visitors alike for pictures.
Location couldn’t be better. It’s just a short walk to the BTS skytrain station, making it effortless to explore the city. The hotel sits right in the middle of one of Bangkok’s most vibrant and tourist-friendly neighborhoods—Sukhumvit is buzzing with energy. The surrounding streets are packed with trendy clubs, convenient supermarkets, authentic massage parlors, fantastic restaurants, street food stalls, and endless shopping options. Everything you could want is literally steps away.
I spent a full week here and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The service was splendid: the staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful, even arranging reliable airport transfers for a smooth departure. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and carried the same sophisticated charm as the exterior.
If you’re looking for a stylish, conveniently located hotel with character and excellent service in the heart of Bangkok’s action, The Davis Hotel is a fantastic choice. I’d happily return! 5/5 stars.
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in ! Thin walls, thin doors, thin windows. Noisy inside and out. Smelly. Rundown. Absolutely horrible experience. Will never ever ever ever ever come back. I suggest you don’t either. Only giving one star because it’s not possible to give Zero.
good, clean, and well located hotel. especially staff are very warm and helping. standart rooms are big and nice, bathrooms are comfortable. hotel is on the center of city and Sukhumvit area, near to public transport. only uncomfortable thing is that curry smell at he corridors.
