Amazing holiday!!
I spent an amazing weeks at a beautiful magic country Dubai!! and it was the perfect escape from daily routine. The hotel was so perfect, extremely comfortable rooms. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery. I spent my days exploring local attractions, swimming in the crystal-clear pool, and relaxing on the beach. The weather was perfect, with warm sunshine every single day. I met wonderful people and I had beautiful memories.

“Rocky start with reservations, but the team made it right”
We arrive and there’s nothing. This was supposed to be a surprise for my wife, and with a baby already making the trip tiring, it just didn’t happen. I called reservations to ask why, and spoke to a lady named Sarah who was rude and talked to me like I was being difficult, not like an actual paying guest. She said the setup is only done later in the stay, not on arrival. If we’d been told that upfront, we’d have understood completely. The issue was never the timing, it was nobody telling us.
Shortly after, the duty manager Mina called and was genuinely professional, explained the situation, and asked for time to set it up while we stepped out with the baby. We agreed, and when we came back the room was set up nicely. Mina also arranged a late checkout for us afterward, which we appreciated.
Credit to Mina and his team for turning things around — the room, the late checkout, all genuinely appreciated. The one moment we can’t get back is walking in together for the surprise, but everything else about the stay was handled well. I’d just encourage the hotel to review how reservations communicates confirmed requests, and to look at how Sarah handles guests on the phone. Would still recommend the hotel overall.
