Vakkaru Maldives

The scenery is stunning, the staff are very friendly, the food is delicious and our accommodation is spotlessly clean，Thank you to our butler Latheef. He arranged everything perfectly for us.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Vakkaru. From the beautiful island and our lovely villa to the wide variety of excellent food options, everything came together to make our stay very memorable.

What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional hospitality from the entire Vakkaru team. Every staff member we met was genuinely warm, friendly and attentive. We especially appreciated the wonderful service at the restaurants, the main pool area, the Splash center during our snorkeling activities, and the Coconut club, where we enjoyed the art classes.

A special thanks to Juman, our butler, who took care of us throughout our entire stay. He was always helpful and made our vacation even more relaxing and enjoyable.

Overall, Vakkaru exceeded our expectations, and my wife and I left with many wonderful memories. We would be very happy to return in the future.

Beyond the beautiful, clean, luxurious, and peaceful environment, what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredibly friendly atmosphere created by the people who work here. Everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Most importantly, they treated us with warmth and kindness that felt truly heartfelt.

I was especially touched on the day we left. So many staff members came to the platform to wave goodbye and stayed there until our seaplane disappeared into the distance. I was honestly so moved that I almost cried. It was such a beautiful and unforgettable farewell.

There are so many wonderful people I would like to thank, and I’m sorry I cannot remember everyone’s names. But I especially want to mention our butler, Juman, who took such wonderful care of us.

Thank you also to the restaurant team and the chef at Vakku, who prepared an excellent, beautifully cooked, and wonderfully tender grilled fish for us. And thank you to the chef at Onu, as well as the friendly team at Amaany buffet, including Yaz and Gie.

A very special thank-you to the bakery specialist who remembered that I loved the pistachio croissant and thoughtfully prepared one for me. That small gesture meant so much to me because it showed how carefully the staff listened to and remembered their guests.

And I absolutely have to mention Ahoo, who works around the pool and beach area. Ahoo always made sure we had fresh towels and ginger shots and captured so many beautiful and memorable photographs for us. Ahoo was always so warm and attentive, and helped make our time by the pool and beach even more special. Thank you for creating so many wonderful memories for us.

Thank you as well to the art teachers, Muaviz and Geeth. Because of you, we were able to bring home so many beautiful crafts and pieces of art that will always remind us of this trip.

And a very special thank-you to Sodiq, who took such wonderful care of our room. It was made perfectly fresh and spotless twice a day, and the huge towel crocodile waiting for us was such a fun and unforgettable surprise. It was so impressive and beautifully made that it became one of our favorite memories of the stay.

I also want to give a very special thank-you to Aroon. Because our flight was late at night, the team arranged the Vakkaru Lounge for us and thoughtfully provided an extra meal so that we could wait comfortably and enjoy a little more of the resort’s luxury before our departure. What touched me most was that they never made us feel like our stay was over. They continued taking care of us until the very last moment, making sure we were comfortable and well looked after until we finally left the Maldives.

That feeling of being cared for all the way to the end was incredibly special. It truly felt like they didn’t want us to simply leave the resort—they wanted to make sure we were taken care of until we left the country.

More than anything, I feel incredibly grateful that we had the chance to meet so many bright, kind, and beautiful people during our stay. The people are truly what made this place special for us.

Thank you to every member of the team, including those whose names I unfortunately cannot remember. Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine care touched us deeply.

We came for the beautiful resort, but we left with memories of the wonderful people who made us feel so welcome.
