Very bad experience
Due to the pandemic situation , our travel to Vakarufalhi in March 2020 was cancelled. The hotel is closed and nobody know when it reopen and IF it reopen again. We’re waiting for our refound from more than 10 months. No answer to any mail. We’re really disappointed for their management of refounds.

COVID Nightmare
We were booked to visit March 2020 but our trip was cancelled due to COVID. The resort has not refunded the money & now are refusing to respond to e-mails or calls. The company has behaved atrociously & I believe many others are in the same boat. How can they happily take bookings when they still owe many people money.

The staff are just the best, always a smile and a nice greeting. The island although small and quiet was just what we needed and we will return for our 3rd holiday. Well done to the management and your team.

Pre CV19 trip
Bit late posting this after travelling in March 2020. First visited Vakaru over 15 years ago when no water villas and very quiet. Then visited other islands over the years after Vakaru was no longer an option via British tour operators. Returned 2020 with a good deal and loved it just as much. Fabulous beach villa, great diving and wonderful service food and drink. Just got back to UK before coronavirus lockdown here so very lucky. Will def want to return in the future when travel is allowed. Lovely island and lovely staff. Hope they are all safe and well.....

BAD EXPERIENCE AND BAD ORGANIZATION
TO AVOID!! This island is wonderful for the sea, the vegetation and the kindness of the majority of the staff. BUT if your dream is to come in Maldives, my advice is to chose another island closer to Male. Let me explain you the Reason why:
Very bad organization between the seaplane and the hotel. When we arrived at Male Airport , to reach our island we waited for approx 4 hours before take the seaplane. We forgot quickly this incident during our holidays, BUT the sequel is even worst due to the hotel's poor organization that ruined our stay.. For the return, we left the hotel only one hour before our flight departure time because the seaplane was not full.. We missed our flight with 2 other couples of the hotel for the same reason. We've had no explanations, no excuses, nothing… Of course we wait many hours at Male Airport, I Don't need to give you more details, you can imagine the situation we've been through, we used the last money we've had for go back in France..So we menaged by ourselves. They promised us compensation since longtime ago and now they aren't answering. Especially read the notices. This hotel is known for their poor organization. The organization was so shame.
