Your daytimes are filled with snorkeling the naturally protected house reef, or dive deeper on a boat excursion through the local waters.
Relax in the The Standard Spa, complete with a communal hammam, aroma steam room, daily yoga and nine private treatment rooms. No stay is complete without a night to remember; whether dancing on the beach to tribal beats or at Beru Bar - an overwater nightclub with a glass bottomed dance floor, the only thing that could end the fun is the sunrise.

Whether an overwater villa floating in the lagoon or settled on a pristine sandy beach front, each of the 115 villas feature their own plunge pool. Rooms are equipped with a king-sized bed (plus one separate daybed) with luxurious linens, nightly turndown service and fluffy pillows. Other amenities include a minibar, private sun-deck, an open-air bathroom with a large bathtub, double vanity sinks, and bath accessories.

More Than a Resort – A Place Filled with Love
The Standard Maldives was my favorite resort during my journey through five different resorts in the Maldives.
What makes this place truly special is not only its beautiful turquoise lagoon, stylish villas, delicious food, or fun atmosphere. It is the people.
From the very first moment, I felt that the entire team genuinely enjoys what they do. There is a feeling of warmth, kindness, and love that is difficult to describe but impossible not to notice. It feels like one big family, and that energy spreads naturally throughout the whole island and reaches every guest.
The lagoon is breathtaking, the beach is beautiful, and there are plenty of activities during the day and evening. At the same time, there are peaceful corners where you can simply relax and enjoy the incredible beauty of the Maldives.
I left with wonderful memories and sincerely hope to come back one day. I will gladly recommend The Standard Maldives to my future clients looking not only for a beautiful resort but also for a place with heart.

We had an incredible experience at The Standard, Maldives, and it exceeded all expectations especially since this was our second visit. As repeat guests, we were touched that the staff remembered us and welcomed us back with such warmth and genuine hospitality.
A special thank you to Shamaau and Sahulaan, who were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine care made our trip even more memorable.
The rooms were spotless, with housekeeping coming through twice a day to keep everything fresh and tidy , a small touch that made a big difference. The staff were some of the friendliest and most accommodating we’ve encountered, checking in with us daily to make sure everything was going smoothly. Nothing felt like a hassle; every request was met with real care.
The food was outstanding, with such a wide variety to choose from that we never got bored, from local flavors to international favorites. And of course, the setting is unbeatable ; the water is impossibly clear, blue, and serene, making every moment by the ocean feel like pure relaxation. Being remembered and welcomed back like family is what truly sets this resort apart. We’ll definitely be returning for a third visit, and we recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-cared-for tropical escape.
Great for snorkeling
a very laid back atmosphere really makes you feel like home. kind and friendly staff, like our host Shamaau. the rooms are spacious and clean. the food is very good, with buffet and a la carte options. if you like snorkeling you won't be disappointed, both excursions and the house reef have a lot to offer.

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at The Standard in the Maldives! Everything exceeded our expectations!.The resort is stunning, the overwater villa is breathtaking, the food was delicious, and there were so many activities to enjoy. Every member of the team was welcoming.
A very special thank you to Poula, who was an amazing host throughout our stay. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. His warmth and genuine care made our holiday even more memorable.
