JA Manafaru is the only resort on Manafaru island in the Maldives northernmost Haa Alif atoll. From Velana International Airport MLE it is a 75 minute seaplane transfer to JA Manafaru.
JA Manafaru is a luxury beach resort on a 35 acre tropical island situated on northern tip of the stunning Haa Alif atoll in Maldives. Lush vegetation grows between beach bungalows beachfront suites and multi bedroom family suites while walkways to striking water villas stretch into sparkling Indian Ocean. All feature private plunge pools and many have partially open air bathrooms that invite the sea breeze.
Seven atmospheric restaurants and bars serve exceptional cuisine created from locally produced ingredients. Beachfront dining breezy sunset bars over water verandas and even haute cuisine in the underground lava stone cellar can be experienced along with personalised dining excursions to nearby uninhabited islands.
Traditional Maldivian massages healing rituals indigenous herbalism Ayurveda and aromatherapy treatments are offered at De Spa amidst the banyan trees. In the Mind and Body Movement Pavilion yoga and meditation sessions take place. Along with a gymnasium the resort also features weekly wellness classes.
Choose to relax at private beach cabanas swim in one of three main swimming pools or engage in one of numerous water sport options. A PADI dive centre offers instruction for novices and excursions to some of the areas stunning dive site sites.
Guests can take advantage of entertainment facilities at PLAY. The Turtle Kids Club with its own childrens pool organises exciting activities for children from 3 to 12 years. Babysitting baby equipment and childrens menu are available.

Our stay at JA Manafaru was truly an extraordinary experience. Every member of the staff, whether in the restaurants or across the resort's activities, took exceptional care of us. Their top priority was always our comfort and satisfaction, and they made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.
The island is absolutely beautiful in every way, with breathtaking scenery and a peaceful atmosphere that made our vacation unforgettable.

Couples 5 day getaway
10 stars!! A perfect holiday! Every staff member went above and beyond to make it a unique and unforgettable experience for our group of 4. The vibes were happy, food was excellent and there are many optional activities. The reef is pristine and we were lucky to see turtles, nurse and reef sharks, an abundance of fish and dolphins. The underground wine cellar was an amazing surprise!! Thank you to everyone, we will be back 🤩
Vacation
I stayed at the hotel from July 1st to 6th and really enjoyed it. It features a wonderful, wide beach and offers delicious, high-quality food. The hotel is truly customer-oriented. I spent the first three days in an overwater villa before moving to a beach villa; however, I liked the beach villa less and asked to move back. The hotel accommodated my request without hesitation, for which I am very grateful. The only downside was the limited number of machines in the gym, but this did not affect my overall impression of the hotel. The staff was excellent, and I would like to give a special mention to Imran, the bartender. He is a friendly, welcoming person who always made delicious coffee for me. I would also like to thank the butler, Mohamed, for the assistance he provided during my stay at the hotel. I would gladly consider JA Manafaru for a return trip to the Maldives.

True paradise
It has been an outstanding experience for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). We were totally happy with every detail of our vacation, and first of all I would like to thank our butler Mohamed who made every day a special one with his friendly and exceptional attitude.
From the very first day we were impressed by the local atmosphere when you are surrounded by a natural paradise. It is a very calm island where your soul is fully in peace. The level of service is incredibly high. Everything is very clean and carefully looked after.
Without any shadow of doubt, we will come back as for us this place is a dreamful destination.

So. We returned to Ja Manafaru again. It’s not simple hotel, it’s place when you would like to return. Meals, villas, nature, hospitality, even weather everything gives you relax and vacation!
