METT Hotel and Beach Resort Bodrum

We stayed as a large family in a three-bedroom villa. The villa is very old. The service constantly let us down. Every other day they woke the baby, and behaved either carelessly or intrusively. The "Service Butler" the hotel promises isn't really that, because every day you have a new person in the chat who has no idea what was going on the day before. You can't even order a taxi. The beach and the common area leave much to be desired. The sand is black, the sun loungers are torn, everything is old. And most importantly — the staff. Completely unprofessional people, seemingly without any training, with no understanding whatsoever of what service means. If we hadn't paid €25,000 for ten days, I could have understood. But taking everything into account, we're extremely dissatisfied with the service and everything else at this hotel

We stayed for two nights at the METT Bodrum. It is a beautiful property with a private beach and nice pool area. We had an ocean view king that had plenty of space. The room was interesting in that the bathroom are was open and the shower/toilet were separate areas. This could make changing a little difficult if you are staying with different parties. Food was great at the beach and breakfast. Would stay again.

First of all, I want to state that this hotel is definitely not 5-star. I think it's at most a 3 or 4-star hotel. The staff were quite disrespectful and poorly trained. Almost none of them spoke English. The rooms were not clean and were not cleaned regularly enough. The breakfast was extremely inadequate. Before coming to this hotel, we stayed at another hotel in Marmaris and the breakfast there was truly excellent. The difference in quality was very noticeable. The hotel's location is also quite bad. To get everywhere you have to either use your own car or call a taxi. Moreover, many drivers in the area try to rip off tourists. An incident I experienced yesterday was the biggest disappointment regarding this hotel. We were waiting in our car at the hotel entrance. My wife went down to get something from her room. After she returned, as I was putting my car in reverse to exit, I saw two black Mercedes Vito/Vans blocking my exit, even though it was clearly visible that I was exiting. When I got out of my car and asked why they weren't letting me pass, one of the drivers said, "I'm dropping off my customer." He wouldn't even wait 20 seconds. Then he tried to argue and fight with me. I prevented the situation from escalating. Now I want to ask the hotel management: Are we the ones paying you, renting your rooms, and being your customers, or are the drivers arriving in these black Mercedes cars the ones?????These outsiders disregard both your hotel and your guests, insulting them and trying to start fights. Despite this, no action is taken. Even more upsetting is that the young employee managing traffic at the entrance witnessed the whole incident but did nothing. He even tried to stop me as I was trying to get out, but didn't warn the people who were unfairly blocking the road. I paid a considerable amount for a 5-night stay at this hotel. Despite this, the service I received and the events I experienced were a huge disappointment. I will absolutely never choose this hotel again and I will not recommend it to anyone I know. I believe the hotel management should at least not allow these black Mercedes cars to occupy the reception entrance and obstruct guests' entry and exit. This situation is unacceptable in terms of both security and guest satisfaction.
