Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Staying at Grand Ambassador Suites was unforgettable. The atmosphere is incredibly tranquil, with quiet spaces, beautiful views, and a sense of calm that makes every moment feel special.
The service was exceptional throughout, and I want to give a heartfelt mention to Pepi at reception, who went above and beyond to help me organise my proposal to my partner. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made an important moment even more meaningful.
The food was delicious, full of fresh flavours, and the cocktails were crafted with real care — perfect for enjoying by the pool or during sunset. Everything across the property was spotlessly clean, from the suites to the shared areas, making the stay feel consistently comfortable and refined.

Amazing resort for our wedding party. The service was incredible from the restaurant, cleaning staff and front desk. This was more than a dream for a wedding weekend and would recommend this place as a must stay in Santorini!
Staff and restaurant were amazing. Friendly and very helpful. The views from the room with private pool are top notch. Getting around the hotel is not an easy task. Rooms are below street level with stairs to your room going down which are steep. They offer pick up and room service but it’s a bit for waiting time as they only have 2 carts for staff. If you have a wedding party all leaving at once some ladies better be prepared to walk steep stairs in heels.
From Pepi’s warm welcome to Eftichis’ excellent service if the stylish restaurant this beautiful hotel is made extra special by its staff. This hotel is on a slope but a smiling buggy driver will sort any mobility issues and your rooms will be cleaned by smiling staff. The position of the hotel is amazing, looking out across towards the volcano. You can sit next to your private pool and watch the ships come and go. The sunbeds are the most comfortable I’ve encountered and the outside seating area affords an alternative al fresco spot. Akrotiri is a quieter part of the island but note it’s a 15 minute walk to get to the town along a busy road. There you can pick up snacks etc as the restaurant although excellent is not cheap and is the only eating option. However Pepsi will gladly arrange a free taxi to nearby eateries . We stayed a week - and enjoyed every minute. A real slice of heaven.
The Grand Ambassador Santorini Hotel is a dream. An incomparably quiet location with stunning views of the sea and the islands of the group. The complex is superbly chic and beautiful, perfectly reflecting the typical style of Santorini. Here, you can relax and enjoy your time. We had a suite, very spacious, well-equipped, and chic, with a fantastic large terrace and pool. The food was also outstanding, with a superbly delicious selection of dishes, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The staff: so warm, friendly, and always helpful, from the service in the restaurant to the reception and housekeeping. You feel very valued and welcome. We would go back anytime, thank you so much for a wonderful vacation.
