Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This hotel gave us exactly what we needed and exactly what was described online — a peaceful, relaxing holiday in a beautiful location. From the moment we arrived, the whole atmosphere felt calm and welcoming, which was exactly what we were looking for.
The staff were all incredibly helpful, polite, and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they always made the effort to make sure guests were happy and comfortable. That personal touch really made a difference.
The cleanliness throughout the hotel was absolutely amazing. Everywhere was spotless at all times, from the rooms to the dining areas and pool surroundings. You could see how much pride the staff take in maintaining the hotel, and it really added to the overall experience.
The food options were quite limited compared to larger resorts, but honestly, everything that was available was freshly cooked each day, extremely well prepared, and genuinely delicious. You could really tell the ingredients were fresh and of good quality, and we actually preferred that over huge buffet choices that often lack quality.
The hotel itself was very clean, well looked after, and had a lovely laid-back feel to it. The views around the area are beautiful, and it’s the perfect place to properly switch off and unwind.
The beach is a short walk down the hill, but absolutely worth it once you get there. Clear water, peaceful surroundings, and never overcrowded — just beautiful.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway away from the crowds. We came home feeling genuinely rested and would happily return again in the future.
Just got back from an amazing vacation at this place! The property is well maintained, with so many nicely designed spaces thoughout. Everything was super clean. The food was great!! There's always something for every taste and always warm and tasty. The all inclusive is totally worth it for what you get. We loved our room, especially the view!! We had a great stay, but the beach was definitely our favorite part. Easy to access, very clean and you can also rent sunbeds for just 10€ per day. The family who runs it along the staff, are amazing, so kind and welcoming! We'll definitely be back!!
I recommend this hotel. It has a pleasant family atmosphere, delicious, fresh food prepared traditionally. You'll truly experience Greek cuisine here. The hotel and rooms are clean. The area is quiet, perfect for relaxation. Beautiful views of the sunset and sea. A minor drawback is the lack of sugar-free drinks during dinner and at the bar with the all-inclusive option. The service was nice and helpful. The walls are also thin, so you can hear conversations from neighboring rooms. It's worth bringing earplugs, but most guests respected the quiet hours. It would also be helpful to install wall-mounted towel racks in the bathroom. I think we'll be back soon. Daria
I loved this hotel! The staff are great, the gardens and pools are lovely, there are plenty of sunbeds, tables and chairs and sunshades, the food is delicious and varied - different Greek dishes every day for all meals even for breakfast, the included wines are very acceptable - and you help yourself to wine, beer and ouzo!
I liked the stylish room decor - so why Good rather than Excellent? Apparently the architect involved in a recent refurb decided that drawers aren't needed in the rooms for all the bits and pieces you can't hang up, nor are shelves necessary for your toiletries in the bathroom.
I hope the owners will do something about this before my next visit. I've already booked for next year!
Glavas Inn is a great spot for a chill out sort of holidays, seeing how it's so close to the beach in a very remote area (there's not a single store in about 7-10 km radius however there's a shop at the hotel with all the essentials, public transport is nonexistent too – do buy the airport shuffle the hotel offers, it's an absolute necessity and on top of that, it's very, very comfortable!). It's very, very clean (although not as luxurious as the pictures show – it's a typical 3+ star resort), the rooms are comfortable (although for me, the downside was the lack of a duvet – there are just sheets as blankets) with smart AC and wonderful views, very quiet too, but if darkness is an issue for you, take a sleep mask because there are no dark shades in the windows. The food is amazing (one day there was gyros included, and I was the happiest girl on Earth then), the frappé they have near the pool is even better (I think I drank my weight in those). I don't personally drink alcohol, but the friend with whom I went didn't complain about the choice of free drinks and never once had a craving to buy something branded. The meals are very well spaced out and there was not a single instant when we were walking around hungry or anything – given, we have next to none food restrictions (my bestie is just lactose intolerant), but I am 100% sure if you informed the staff about issues, they would help you. Customer service was top notch, too. Overall, I think our stay was exactly what we signed for especially for such a low price, and it's honestly not unlikely we would return for some lazy time at the Greek sea.
