The location of the hotel is good, little walk to the beach, not far from the clubs, supermarket. The Hotel is quiet no problem. The room is perfect.
We enjoyed the way they treated us at the dinner time or breakfast.
Good hotel.
Wonderful 5* hotel. Nice people, excellent food, great entertainment. Near the beach.

We’ve now stayed at the Albatros Resort & Spa three times over the past 11 years, most recently with our two children, my parents, my brother, his wife and their 3-year-old. Overall, we had a lovely family holiday and there are plenty of things we really enjoyed.
The hotel is immaculately clean, with excellent room cleaning and lovely waiting staff, particularly George and the restaurant manager (apologies, I didn’t catch her name!). The location is fantastic for the beach (walk down to the very bottom near the rocks), and the hotel itself is small, friendly and relaxed. The pools were very clean, there were plenty of sunbeds and, importantly, no sunbed-hogging! It was also nice that children could use pool floats.
The food at breakfast and dinner was very good, with plenty of variety, including a separate wellness buffet. The pool bar also served good food during the day at reasonable prices.
There are a few things worth mentioning, though. We found the Hersonissos strip itself quite seedy and claustrophobic, although this is obviously outside the hotel’s control, but definitely wouldn't return to Hersonissos.
We also had an uncomfortable experience with the bar manager regarding the rule about outside food and drinks around the pool. We were told that these weren’t allowed, which is absolutely fair if that is the hotel policy, but we felt the rule was not being applied inconsistently. For example, other guests were drinking from glass beer bottles around the pool, while my daughter was spoken to about having a can of lemonade. We would simply ask that the rules are applied consistently to everyone (and not just applied to us British).
Having stayed here since 2015, we were also disappointed to see that the furniture in the rooms outside of the main building appears to be exactly the same as it was on our first visit. While the hotel has now been upgraded to 5*, we feel these rooms are in need of refurbishment, and we struggled to see what justified the additional star rating.
Finally, although some of the evening entertainment was very good, this is definitely a hotel that feels more geared towards adults. There wasn't much specifically for children, with things such as lobster and steak evenings being more adult-focused.
Despite these points, we had a lovely holiday and the cleanliness, food, location and friendly atmosphere remain big positives. We just feel that, having visited three times, we can see both what makes the hotel special and where there is room for improvement, unfortunately we wouldn't return - but thanks to Albatros for the memories over the years.
We are here now and we are very pleased with everything. Good food, clean hotel, confortable beds. Only one bad thing for me. The cleaning staff is soooooo loud !! This morning i had a really bad headache and I wanted to rest in bed, but hearing all those noised, chairs being dragged..and then in the afternoon when my baby is taking a nap.. Still, the service and staff is really good!
