This beach hotel is located on the Gold Coast of Barbados in Paynes Bay, St. James, which is considered to be one of the island's best white sandy beaches. It is only 10 minutes from Bridgetown, the capital city of Barbados and has easy access to all attractions that the island has to offer. The nearby shopping plaza of Holetown is only 1.5 miles away and the airport is 14 miles (30 minutes) away.
The hotel offers a quiet place to stay, a stunning location and an intimate charm. Renovated in 2006 and set in lush, tropical gardens, the hotel also offers new luxury suites with private pools overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It comprises a total of 35 rooms, including 10 Ocean Front, 10 Pool and 12 Garden suites, which form a horseshoe shape around the outdoor swimming pool. Facilities include: lobby with 24-hour reception, a cloakroom, a restaurant, Internet/WLAN access, a TV room, a safe, currency exchange and conference facilities.
All suites are contemporary and luxurious. They all have individually adjustable air conditioning and come with their own living area, balcony or patio. Suites include: king-size beds, an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, radio, Internet access, a minibar, a fridge, tea/coffee facilities, an ironing set and a safe. In addition, 2 of the Ocean Front deluxe suites feature a large bath, a walk in shower and a terrace with a plunge pool and are located right on the edge of the beach. The truly romantic Hemingway Suite is also available for honeymooners.

The Amazing staff @ Treasure Beach hotel
We have currently been @ Treasure Beach hotel Barbados for 9 days & don’t want to go home!
The staff are amazing & treat you like part of their happy family.
The food is absolutely delicious & so much choice!
Dinner is a 4 Course à la carte option! Breakfast- lunch & the all day menu are all fresh & very tasty! I don’t know how they do it but they do! The food is 5 star in my opinion! The service is quick & always with a smile!
The staff make sure you feel like a VIP & the junior suites are large, quiet & very comfortable!
The receptionists are very helpful if you have any questions.
We took the free water taxi around the bay but didn’t get off at any of the sister hotels - but that is an option!
The grounds are well kept with gorgeous flowers & banana trees etc! There are humming birds flying around & the beach & sea are an absolute bonus!
The pool & loungers are never busy!
The weather is wonderful & so is snorkelling with the fish & turtles!
There is plenty to do if you want trips out but also relaxing by the pool with a cocktail or two is a great option!
There is a small gym @ a library which is well stocked.
The entertainment was great - & we did get up and dance a few times to the singer & saxophonist!

Ok.
It was ok. The food was average. Catch of the day was the same everyday. Our first night was a nightmare. Went to bed after travelling all day and was woken up by the awful singing, so got moved to room 114 which flooded due to the shower leaking and was being repaired all day to our inconvenience. Never got offered any money back or ‘good will gesture’. Staff were very good and apologetic but won’t be staying again which is a shame because the setting was lovely. Only stayed because the British airways rep said that the food was lovely….it wasn’t.

We arrived for a five night stay and the staff was fabulous. Everybody was so friendly and couldn’t be more accommodating and helpful.
The food was great. I’m a somewhat picky eater and could always find something that I liked. I was very happy that the food was ala carte The grounds and rooms were well maintained. My husband and I will be back next year

Hi - question, we are due to go to Treasure Beach, Barbados - are there loungers on the beach and are they attended by staff ie bringing drinks
Literal Treasure!
We had the most amazing 10 days at Treasure Beach. It really is such a special place — beautiful, boutique and, most importantly, incredibly peaceful. You completely switch off here, and it’s only when you visit other hotels afterwards that you realise just how tranquil Treasure Beach is.
The beach is amazing, the food and drinks were fantastic, and the facilities are brilliant, but it’s the staff who really make the place. A huge thank you to Yohan, Desai, Sophia, Michelle, the restaurant team, the managers and everyone else who looked after us so well.
We absolutely loved our stay and left feeling completely relaxed. Treasure Beach is somewhere we’ll definitely be coming back to.
