Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Our stay at Beach View exceeded our expectations. The communication before we arrived was very good and we were given a ground floor room, as requested. All the staff were friendly and professional and we were very well looked after. The accomodation was more spacious than we expected and well equipped. We used the car hire from The Hut which was straightforward for pick up and delivery. There are pleanty of garages around for fuel, which all seem to be attended service, pay on the forecourt, Just need to remember to check which side to fill up 😊 We arranged for the airport transfer, which was also very good, the driver dropped us off at the apartment block rather than reception, and we were met in the car park, and let into the room. Not like some hotels that don't seem to be expecting their guests arrivals. Jordans Supermarket is about 20 min walk south of Beach View, so walkable, but your ice cream will melt on the way home. Masseys have a couple of supermarkets about 10 min drive away. Driving is on the left, so quite easy, but, the roads are quite rough. A lot of big pot holes that people drive around, or stop tp let traffic pass. Note, damage to wheels an tyres isn't covered under the hire car insurance, so be careful. Good to check some prices online for food at Masseys to see how it compares to home. They have a range of Waitrose food! It's quite expensive and there are not many "ready meals". A lot of ingredients. Wednesday and Saturday (I may not have remembered correctly) a lady has a selection of fruit and veg for sale from the back of her car, next to The Hut. Well worth a look, and try some ripe mangos etc. Snorkelling in the bay is good, quite rocky, so take some water shoes. Hope to visit again.
This was my fifth time staying (since 2022) at Beach View and it continues to provide special moments and an outstanding experience. Typically I spend a week by myself and then am joined for another week by my travel bestie. From the housing unit and pools, to the care and attention to detail that everyone seems to value to ensure that guests are safe and comfortable, I always feel like I have returned "home." The addition of Stede's Hideaway provides one more option for liming on evenings when I choose not to leave the property.
We love Beach View for everything it stands for. The staff, location, rooms, food, grounds - everything.
Beach view is a perfectly run resort on Barbados’s platinum coast. It is located just to the South of Holetown where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and big supermarket. The reggae buses that plough up and down the coast are great fun and a cheap way of getting about. As for Beach View itself it is extremely well run. The staff are superb. Special mention to Melissa, in reception and the bar manager as well as Heather our wonderfully friendly cleaner. We stayed in the three bedroom Ylang Ylang villas. They were magnificent and perfect for our needs. Three large bedrooms, all en-suite. Perfect air conditioning and a full kitchen onto an open plan living area. Huge bonuses were Sugar Apple the in-house restaurant which was easily the best food we had in the entire island and Stedes Bar. The resorts Pirate themed bar, complete with pool table and darts. Overall I can’t fault this place. A well run, well appointed, resort with superb staff. I will definitely be back!!!
Excellent facilities and well maintained and appointed rooms. Grounds were lovely and again well maintained as were the swimming pools. All staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.
