This enchanting property is located in the heart of the St. Lawrence Gap on the white sanded Dover Beach. It is within walking distance of restaurants, night life, shopping and sporting venues. The hotel is perfectly located for the ideal balance of serenity and activity during travellers' Barbados holiday. Its size ensures that personalised service and attention to detail are guaranteed, however, the hotel promises to connect guests with all the very best of Barbadian culture, food and activities. The accommodation units are bright and spacious, featuring magnificent views over the pool or to the ocean. The hotel offers a beachfront restaurant with mouth-watering Barbadian and international dishes, plus a happening beach bar where visitors can mix with the locals for great music and drinks.
Our 4th stay at this small and friendly hotel. Good location right on the excellent Dover Beach. Really was a struggle to walk the 75 yards to the beach!! Excellent position in The Gap with many bars and restaurants within a gentle stroll. Staff all very pleasant and friendly. Mary, Sharon and Camille to mention a few but cannot remember all their names. Rooms are quite basic but kept clean and the beds big and comfortable. Breakfasts and lunches were always good and served fairly promptly. Happy hours good but more selection would be nicer. We have always been on the Ocean side although the poolside of the hotel offers a nice serene area to completely relax around the pool. Shame no bar there however. For the money and how much time you actually spend in your room this is very good value. The hotel is beginning to look a bit jaded however in places but nothing that a bit of regular maintenance couldn't address. Would not stop us from returning at all in the future.
Horrible building. Service is non existent. We waited 45 minutes for a salad :( Computer were down. So ordering was complicated. Our waitress could not remember more than one plate at a time. And the setting is neither infinity nor paradisiaque. Avoid
Good morning all ! Had a booking to return to the infinity in October and just been notified that my booking is cancelled due to the hotel closing. This hotel was a proper little gem and ok it needed sprucing up a bit here and there and a few more staff but I hope they don’t try and over do the refurbishment as it won’t be the same ! And the selling point for this hotel is its position on Dover beach so I hope the owners remember that ! I really look forward to my 2 weeks every October here but now booked into southern palms next door 🤷♂️
I Stayed at the Hotel for a week while in Barbados to watch the cricket and had a lovely stay. All the staff are genuinely welcoming and friendly. Rooms are a great size, clean have all the facilities needed for a stay. The breakfast is fresh and hot, Sharon our waitress was delightful and accommodating. The pool bar facing the beach is very chilled and Kemar the bartender attentive and great at his job.
I commented to Renee, the General Manager at the weekly guest cocktail party that the mattress on the bed was too hard, she said she would request a soft bed topper from housekeeping for me... the next day that's exactly what I had and made a huge difference - Thank you Renee for arranging.
Location is great - right on the beach and just a few mins walk from nightlife, bars and restaurants in the Gap.
I would definitely recommend a stay here and I will return.
We stayed in June for a week and the location was excellent. We walked to most places. There are tons of restaurants and bars in the area and the staff is helpful in finding anything special that you may want to eat. We went to happy hour a couple of times and also did use the beach chairs and umbrella (a fee for the umbrella).
