The Resort is located 8 km from Hurghada Airport.The elegantly furnished rooms all include balconies with views of the gardens, the lagoon pool or the sea. Each is air conditioned and comes with a marble bathroom, minibar. Guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the Red Sea while sipping their favourite cocktail at the Sunset Bar. For water pipes and evening entertainment, there is an atmospheric café. It offers a sea-view spa with a sauna and a hot-tub. The international animation team organises a variety of shows including folk dancing, live music and discos. The hotel also offers a supervised beach for children. Walking through the front doors you were greeted with warmth and kindness. Mohamed immediately made you feel relaxed and welcome. The rooms were kept very clean and Hamed ensured you were well cared for. The views of the Red Sea were spetacular and the snorkeling from the beach was excellent with lost is marine life on full display. The door staff were just as friendly, Hussein ensured you were prepared to leave and you had all the essentials. He even arranged for someone to check our room for a forgotten item. Turns out we had it but knowing we had not left it behind provided peace of mind as we moved to our next destination. It was a wonder stop for a much needed rest.

My husband and I just got back from a week at the Sphinx Aqua Park Beach Resort, and honestly? What a ride. If you like your vacations mixed with equal parts sunshine, historical mystery, and extreme tactical maneuvers around the buffet, this place is a masterpiece. Here is the honest, slightly sun-burnt breakdown of our stay. 🏨 The Vibe & The Room. When we checked in, we were greeted by grand architecture that proudly screams “1998 Egyptian Luxury.” Our room was spacious, though the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine trying to take off from Cairo airport. But hey, white noise is great for sleep, right? The bed was firm enough to cure any back problems, and the balcony gave us a gorgeous view of... another balcony and a bit of the Red Sea if you stood on your tiptoes and squinted just right. 🌊 The Beach & Pools. The beach is actually a major highlight—the water is stunning, crystal clear, and warm. However, securing a sun lounger is not for the weak. My husband had to channel his inner Navy SEAL at 6:30 AM just to capture two loungers near the pool. If you sleep in until 8:00 AM, forget it; your only option for sunbathing will be standing upright like a flamingo. The aqua park is fun if you want to relive your childhood or test the structural integrity of your swimsuit on the slides. Just watch out for rogue children flying down the tubes at Mach 3. Let's step away from the hotel for a moment, because you simply have to know about Sheriff Egypt, the local agency we used for our excursions! You can easily find them online just by searching their name. First of all, their prices are significantly lower than what the hotel guides try to charge. We booked their Cairo trip in a small group of up to eight people with a private guide, and it was an absolute game-changer—much more personal and comfortable than a massive bus tour. We also did their Super Safari, which was incredible fun. A huge bonus is that their guides speak fantastic English, making the whole experience smooth, informative, and engaging. Highly recommend booking with them! 🍽️ Dining & The Great Food Adventure. Let’s talk about the food. Nobody is going to starve, but you do need a strategy. Breakfast: An exciting daily quest to find a clean teaspoon and beat the crowd to the omelet station. Lunch & Dinner: Plentiful, but after three days, every chicken dish starts tasting like it has a personal history lesson attached to it. The bartenders work miracles, though. After tipping a modest one-dollar bill on day one, my husband magically became the most important VIP guest at the resort. Suddenly, our cocktails weren't just poured; they were engineered with extra umbrellas and dramatic flair. 🧹 Service & Staff. The staff are genuinely hardworking and polite, always ready with a cheerful "Welcome to Egypt, my friend!" Even when the lobby looked like Grand Central Station during rush hour, they kept their cool. Room cleaning was a bit of a lottery—one day we got fresh swans folded out of bath towels, and the other day our empty water bottles vanished, but our dirty coffee mugs remained as permanent art installations. Final Verdict. Would we recommend Sphinx Aqua Park Beach Resort? If you are looking for ultra-modern luxury and Michelin-star dining, keep walking. But if you want a fun, budget-friendly beach getaway with your husband, plenty of sunshine, and enough funny memories to laugh about for the next year—pack your sunscreen and your game face. Just don't lose the towel cards, or the hotel will probably ask for your firstborn child as collateral!
Just arrived back in Uk from this hotel and was wonderful from staff to service very caring people always smiling and happy Mohamed one of the manager there very welcoming making things to runs smoothly and on my sister in law birthday day they arranged a beautiful surprise I will definitely 💯 visit again My family from Romania which been there twice advise this hotel !
It was amazing the experience here in Sphinx Aqua Park Beach Resort, specially the animation team one of the best in all Egypt.
