Great hotel, staff are all helpful and friendly, rooms serviced everyday by very hardworking cleaners that always pass the time of day with you. The reason my review is not getting 5 is the filthy dirty areas under the sunbeds where sticky drinks have been spilt and just left, in the time I was there I never once witnessed any body cleaning these areas, really lets the hotel down

Lovely hotel and staff

The Yunus Hotel is one on many beach front hotels in Marmaris . Marmaris Hotels , even the five star ones, are generally not up to par with hotels ratings in other Turkish seaside cities. The room size isn’t generous but not too bad . Luckily we had an extra bed in the room so we good put things on it . The room would be terribly small for 3 people even with a child . 
The room was a bit shabby and in need of painting . The towels and bedding could be slightly whiter. Pillows could be softer.
The front rooms of the hotel have a nice view but also get the noise from the music coming from the restaurant. If you want a quieter room I would pass on the view .
The hotel has a very poor breakfast . The coffee is from a terrible machine . You need to get up hundreds of times to serve yourself breakfast . The tables are not laid up so you need to collect your knives and forks . Then you need to get your drinks and finally you can get your food . The coffee and tea were very bad and we paid for our own filter coffee to be served ( maybe this is their  trick to get you to purchase more ) . During our four night stay we only ate breakfast twice - we paid to go elsewhere .
However the biggest problem with the breakfast was the cups and coffee machine were very dirty. I told the staff the first day and wrote “clean “ on top of the dust in the coffee machine . Nothing was done and one the third day I told a member of staff as my writing in the dust was still there  . I didn’t bother to check again - I just ordered my own coffee.
The lady at reception is extremely rude and looks as if she hates her job. Twice our second room key didn’t work so I came down from my room on the top floor and she questioned me and said the key was working and if it wasn’t perhaps I had put it next to my phone . Both my husband and I 
tried the door key numerous times and I would not waste my time going downstairs unless there was a problem . On the last day the second key would not work again . I was literally scared to go 
downstairs to tell the receptionist. I just called my husband to come and let me in. 

 The reason I have still given this establishment three stars is the restaurant is quite good . Damla,  especially, was a good server. The food is fairly good and service is quick .

Poor Hotel - restaurant quite good

Clean, tidy rooms, cleaned daily with added flowers arrangements with towels etc. Bathroom shower leaked and took two days for someone to fix it. Aircon didn't work until I bought 2 new batteries. Lady on reception was both rude and impatient, yet the man on the evenings was delightful. Beach staff were delightful and happy once you got to know them. We 'adopted' the hotel puppy for the week and they were so delighted with that. Please take time to see Alex the pup if you can. I stayed Bed and Breakfast and this catered to European tastes. I ate at the beach most days and the menu food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Small hotel, beach staff lovely!

Myself and my parents stayed at Yunus hotel in May 2024 and loved our stay. The staff were exceptional, especially Ozzy, who could not do enough for us. The location is great, food is great, and facilities were great. Hotel is very clean. Cocktails were delicious. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful especially Ozzy who was great fun! Looking forward to staying here again.

Wonderful experience

We’ve just come back from this lovely hotel after 7 nights. The hotel is very well situated  not far from Blue Port Mall and the Port/Marina area with plenty of restaurants and shops in the vicinity. Private pool and beach with its own sunbeds and beach towels provided for the use of guests. The rooms are cleaned every day to a high standard and fresh towels provided daily; special thanks to the housekeeper- Nory, at  the 5th.floor. A continental buffet breakfast provided every morning with plenty of choice. The rooms are of a good size with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The receptionists are very kind and helpful. Besides, there are some books at the reception area in case you’d like to borrow and read during your stay. 
The hotel is perfect for couples or small family groups and I would really recommend..

Recommended  Hotel

Refurbished and modernised at the beginning of 2013, this attractively designed hotel enjoys a fabulous location on Marmaris' promenade over-looking Uzunyali Beach and the bay of Marmaris. Shops, café-bars and restaurants are all in close proximity while the centre of the resort is less than 20 minutes' walk away.
