Helios Benidorm - Requested room not to be made up by putting do not disturb sign on door. At 2.45pm,  requested quick clean. Reception said the cleaning staff finished at 3pm so this wasn’t possible. After ringing my room again, reception said that the reason why the room hadn’t been cleaned was because I had put a sign on my door. I said I knew and all I wanted was new towel's really. Reception Female rang and told me that the reason my room hasn’t been cleaned, was due to the sign and then barked at me “don’t do it again”.90% of reception staff were rude and acted as it was a chore to assist above the norm.

We have stayed in The Helios Hotel many times but I am still always impressed with the level of service in this hotel. Edwordo and Mortin on reception not only make you feel very welcome but have a very pleasent nothing is too much trouble attitude. Some people are just perfect in their job and these two are exceptional in their role at the hotel.I know its about team work but the reception staff are your first pont of call and affect your whole impression of the hotel so I wanted to make a special point to give credit to staff who go beyond to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast choice is very varied and good quality. The rooms are a nice size and near enough to be on the edge of the strip but still quiet enough tto sleep. I would highly recommend The Helios for every aspect of a stay in Benidorm but the one thing that enhances it all is the well trained, always pleasent and helpful staff.

Staff are amazing

10/10 super clean great food comfy beds great place to visit for couples and familys. Staff amazing, old town benidorm is great for typical Spanish culture.  If want livly got to strip. I will definitely come again . I could not fault the place or hotel .

I recently came back from a 4 night break at the hotel helios the hotel is spotless inside and out. The pool was quite warm for May The pool bar is easy to get served didn't use the indoor bar so can't comment. There seems to be plenty of sunbeds but as I say it was May . The breakfast was good plenty of choice and it was hot the bacon was undercooked but you could stay in the poshest hotel in Spain and it would be undercooked. Reception staff are friendly and helpful in some hotels they can be miserable f!@#*!s good location 5 minute walk to the beach all in all good hotel for adults. 

Blokes four night break 

The hotel defiantly gets 5/5 from us .we stay in benidorm every year and this hotel is the best we have stayed in . First impressions are very good , lovely clean , modern building and same in reception , we liked the online check in they send you prior to your stay , so quick to get your keys when you arrive , The staff are all very helpful and friendly , we stayed in 705 which overlooks the street at back of hotel it has a nice mountain view to the left . The rooms are a good size and have everything you need for a very comfortable stay , safe was included in the room price , we were told we could borrow a kettle from reception and cups and spoon from the bar which we did and was a nice extra , pool towels can be used too .The pool was nice ( not very deep but you could still swim in it ) never saw a broken sun bed and had no problem getting one and sun was around the pool all day .Bar drinks reasonable prices and snacks looked lovely although full from the lovely breakfast so didn’t need to try them ..The breakfast had so much choice and everything looked fresh and tasty , eve meal the same , loads of choices .On an evening there was a singer but we didn’t manage to see them as we liked to have a wander on an evening .The hotel is exceptionally clean everywhere and smells fresh , our room was cleaned daily and the staff very friendly anything you asked for, they did their best to help .location was the best for us , 5 mins from the large market , 5 mins from the strip , 5 mins to other bars in another direction and 10/15 mins to the beach , but not too loud on a night to sleep .I would also like to say a masssive thankyou to the manager mercedes and her staff for doing such a lovely job of keeping the hotel looking so clean and running so smoothly , we were also very overwhelmed by their kindness and help when my husband slipped in the rain outside and he cut his head , sorting taxis to hospital and making sure we were both looked after so well until the end of our holiday , thankyou to them all , It’s a lovely hotel and now we know why so many people return we will definitely be doing the same in the future .
