Excellent choice for Lagos. Very friendly staff, room is very clean, and perfect location. Located centrally, it is easy walking distance to area restaurants, bars, beaches, etc. The breakfast is the best we have ever enjoyed at a hotel. Lagos Avenida hotel has our highest recommendation!

The Best Lagos hotel choice!

Recommend this hotel - why? Best of both worlds as opposite the marina, minutes walk from Lagos town and walk in thai massage places, 10-15 mins from the beach and hotel boasts views from its rooftop bar and pool.  Felt very relaxed here and an hr in an uber from Faro. Hotel gave us amazing restaurant recommendations, enjoyed the best ice cream at Gelicia & a burrata salad on the marina. Lovely clothing shop on the marina too vs the clothing places in town. Breakfast impressive, esp the white chocolate porridge and lush shower gel/handwash in bottles in the room! If i was to pick fault, it would be the lack of bathroom and sink in room. Staying with a friend not the most private, but was fine and the rooftop bar cocktails need more choice:-) Staff welcoming and helpful, ironing board arrived in mins to the room too. Portugese people just make you feel looked after and welcome ❤️

Just book it!

Nice hotel directly across from the marina, seemed to have a very strict 3:00 check in time.... Rooftop bar w/pool with a great view......... bartender and pasta salad were very good..... room opened out on to the main road across from the marina which meant the incessant beeps from the pedestrian crossing at the traffic lights...... fairly small room with the shower on the opposite side of a wall from the wash basin?????

The service in the restaurant was great- the staff were very friendly. However the reception staff, in particular Fernando was substandard. On our last day, he refused to get us a coffee/anything to eat at 7am, he was very unhelpful, despite us having paid for breakfast. 

The hotel itself is in a good location but the rooms are not ideal for sharing with friends- there is a sheer curtain between the room and toilet!!

Lagos with friends

Great location. Could walk to the beach. Not very far from the train station.  The breakfast was amazing!!!! Friendly staff. Loved the rooftop pool area. Was the most relaxing part of our Portugal/Spain trip. Stayed for 4 nights. Had great weather.

Located in Lagos center and 700 meters from Meia Praia BeachLagos Avenida Hotel is set in Lagos city centre and within a 10-minute walk from Meia Praia Beach. There is a roof-terrace with a infinity pool and amazing views to the Marina and to the sea. During the winter (Nov. to March) the pool is heated.

All modern rooms offer a balcony or terrace with views of the marina or city, air-condition, flat-screen TV and a bathroom with toiletries. You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. The nearest airport is Faro Airport, 80 km from the property.
