General view

Greeted by beautiful staff, place was great.  View and pool area was like nothing I have ever experienced.  We arrived early rooms were all ready, when we stepped out on terrace we could not believe our view.  We had lunch the first day arriving expecting it to be very expensive and it was not.  The breakfast open from 7am to 11am which was nice and the service was top notch!  The girls working the breakfast and dining areas were amazing and talked to us and told us there stories which were very interesting.  They love working there which was so nice to hear.  Hotel had beach area which you had to go down ladder to go in water, which this time of year was too chilly but would be amazing in the warmer weather, we walked over to beach a 5 minute walk for loungers and waves but be careful, we were told free chairs just one needed to order on drink,  the drinks were huge but 50 euro each lol so we did get a little scammed but they were yummy and probably about 3 drinks worth.  the bus to the town was right out front and you buy tickets 2 euro each from from front reception which was convenient and we were leaving early at 6am to go back to Athens there were nice enough to prepare us coffee and muffins in the lobby prior to us leaving.  Incredible service!

Stunning hotel with remarkable views!

We were recommended by friends to call in for massage and stayed for dinner! Beautiful location with a lovely pool. The staff accommodated an “on the spot” massage and facial which were exceptional. We felt so welcome we decided to stay for dinner. The service was brilliant, the food was delicious and the location spectacular. Highly recommend.

Wow wow wow

We spent a fantastic 10 nights at this wonderful resort.  The location was perfect for us and the overall quality of the hotel was outstanding.  But the staff made the stay that much more memorable.  The reception staff, the cleaning staff, the concierge staff and the restaurant and bar staff were exceptional.  Nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay the very best of vacations.

AN OUTSTANDING HOLIDAY AT AN OUTSTANDING RESORT HOTEL

DEFINTELY go at the end of Septemeber for the best experience. Not only is it a lot less busy and crowded, it's not as hot, AND we got to see a nearby firework show because it was the last weekend (of sept) of their official tourism season. 
This hotel was the best of our Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini trip. Just everything was great! The pillows, the bed, the rooms, the VIEW. The pool, the BREAKFAST was amazing! So much fruit and options. The sea view and access was amazing- the water was perfect temperature and no current! 
The customer service was amazing! Everyone was so eager to help and polite, we got so much free free food and wine when we ate at their amazing restaurant for dinner our first night. I tried Rooster for the first time! It was like the best tender dark meat I'd ever had! 
They have an amazing rooftop access for the best sunset pictures and these circle beds all around to lay out on during the day. 
There's also a shuttle bus only about $3 to take you into town-about 10 minutes. Definitely go to Fabrica- a shopping labyrinth area only accessible by walking-no cars., with the best shops and souvenirs!

This hotel felt straight out of a dream, or an Instagram post :) I will always dream about coming back to this place!

Petasos is located 20 mins by cab from
The Ferry port . The rooms were clean and the AC was perfect. We had a small balcony which over looked the pool and the Marina. There is no elevator needed for the hotel as it’s just one flight of stairs. Our check in was smooth and our luggage was promptly delivered to our room and picked up too when we were leaving. There is the Platys Gialos bus stop outside the hotel and buses leave every 30 mins which is the biggest benefit if you want to go into Mykonos town and they run late at night too. You can also buy bus tickets at the hotel reception or inside the bus. The hotel doesn’t provide any complimentary water. 

Pro tip:

1) bus stop right outside the hotel
2) good pool size and enough chairs
3) there is a bakery right outside the hotel if you want snacks , drinks or even get pastries and lunch. 
4) couple of amazing tavernas within 5 mins walk 

Our big let down was that the breakfast was not the best like other Greece hotels. It was a let down actually. The lattes and cappuccinos were weak and not even warm. I would recommend that the hotel management get away from breakfast buffet to al a carte.

The worst part about the room was our bathroom. It’ had its fixtures in the middle of the walk in shower! It’s the worst design on the planet. The whole bathroom design was not functional and honestly it was more of a physical hazard. If you are full figured individual be careful in booking certain rooms I guess as the bathroom configuration is bad.

Excellently located on a private peninsula, this elegant and luxurious hotel enjoys overwhelming views over the azure blue Aegean Sea. The famous beaches of Platis Yialos and Psarou are only 30 metres and 150 metres away, respectively.
