This hotel was lovely and in a great location, so close to the beach. I went with my friend and we were both so happy with it. The room was nice, with a lovely little balcony and a spacious fridge! Maria on reception was an angel, and she really made our trip the best it could be! Always friendly and informative, and very funny! Thank you so much to the all the staff there for a great holiday :)

Just got back from 10 days in the Creta Aquamarine Hotel and feeling completely relaxed after staying in this lovely hotel.Everything you need is here- spotless rooms, lovely food, kind and helpful staff( special mention to polyvios and Maria)and a fantastic location just a short 2 minute walk from the beach. Would recommend to anyone.😃

Location, location,location!

Booked a room with a sea view which cost us extra money. Upon arrival it became clear that this wasn't the case. The balcony had a view of a dirt road and a big tree, no sea in sight. Upon complaining to the manager his response was "every view is a sea view if you crane your neck" refering to the fact that the sea was located further up the road behind other buildings and would require some impressive gymnastics to actually see from our balcony. Completely false advertising and a snotty attitude from both the male employees we encountered behind the desk.

They moved us to another room the next night which was much better, still no sea view but at least we had a better bed and room. The previous room had two twin beds that were hard as rock, a god awful smelling bathroom and cheap laminate flooring.

We definitely felt as though they fobbed us off with the worst room because we were British. The "sea view" and basic rooms are exactly the same, they just advertise it as 
a sea view to con extra money out of gullible tourists.

The room itself is basic, no safe despite it being advertised as having one... No mugs or glasses and the towels were not changed when the room was cleaned.

Basic as basic can be, not surprising given the three star rating of the hotel but you can definitely get a better three star for the price.

The only redeeming factor of the hotel is its location, with a short five minute walk into town and a short walk to the beach... That and the lady employee on the front desk was lovely, polite and genuinely helpful, unlike the "technician" who sat on his behind all day and constantly glared at us. 

In short. Don't bother.

Don't waste your money here

It was first after booking our stay that we became aware of the reviews on TripAdvisor. I must admit I was quite worried about what kind of stay it was going to be. Luckily we were positively surprised. The hotel was clean, had a fine breakfast buffet, and the room was as expected. The hotel is located within 100-200 meters from a nice beach and in walking distance to restaurants and a local supermarket. 
The staff were always helpful and smiling. We thought the beds were quite hard, and when we told the staff they put extra madrases on top which helped a lot.

Friendly staff and clean hotel

An average 3star hotel… a nice small room with a small balcony, old bathroom, everything kept clean. Nice food, all inclusive limited (time, food and drink option). 

The staff is absolutely great and very friendly, all of them took care of us really nicely and we enjoyed our holiday as much as we could.

Average hotel but amazing staff

Creta Residence stands on the waterfront among lush palm trees and with its breathtaking view and relaxing atmosphere, it provides the best of leisure and entertainment.
